
Today, the MEC for Free State Department Of COGTA, Mr Ketso Toto Makume took part in a inaugural Men’s Dialogue as a panelist, organized by Men Engage foundation at Nkgopoleng Secondary School, in Sasolburg.
The purpose of this dialogue, under the theme: “is there a future for a boy child?” Was to have men and boys to engage on social ills of the society such as the scourge of Gender Based Violence and femicide. To prepare boys to be proactive not reactive. Help them change how they view woman, encourage a healthy relationship between boys and their fathers, to take a boy child to self actualization, to be developed with basic skills and become assets.
Other Panelists were: MEC for Social Development Me. Tshidi Koloi, Executive Mayor for Metsimaholo Local Municipality, Cllr Jeff Zwane, Dr. Jabu Mbongo and Adv. Mafusi Lekeka from NPA.
